Interim Activity:

Ice schedule has been set for the season.

Squirt Gold travel team assistant coaches, treasurer, and coordinators were approved.

Discussions held re: Bantam level rosters and number of teams to field.

Midwest League schedules reviewed.

Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer’s Report: Motion: Pam Colwell; Second, John Ward, approved.

Discussion re: ice time billing/private lessons/clinics for 2006-2007.

Chairperson’s Reports:

Operations – Mark Morehead

Registrar: Approximately 210 registered thus far.

Musketeer Relations: Mark Morehead is working with Rich Zaber re: Musketeer night. Possibly January 27th? Musketeers wanting to do a number of programs with SYHA this season.

Coaches/Player Development – Mark Morehead

Coaches Selection: Dale Frerichs approved for Mites Head Coach.

Currently working on Green Squad Coaches, assistant coaches, coordinators and treasurer’s.

House League – Gary Bennier

Coordinators: Discussion held re: HL coordinator positions yet open and potential volunteer candidates.

Referees: John Ward

Clinic is scheduled for October 7th 9am – 3 pm.

Coaches are being asked to promote respectful behavior toward referee staff.

Referees are set for the season.

Travel Teams: Deb Logsdon/Troy Hedlund

23 Tryouts scheduled.

Finance/Fundraising – Mark Johnson

Dasher Boards: Scott Newman 6 boards sold!!!

HL Jerseys: House League jerseys are ordered, sponsors being lined up $300 each.

Greens: Turn in date for orders is October 12th.

Pancake Day: Date is set for January 27th.

Novelties: Travel warm ups are Reebok and black – new style, sharp, kids will like them.

Golf Tournament: Golf tournament was a great success!!

Old Business:

SYHA currently has an open board position to be filled. Would prefer to fill this position with representation from the younger divisions. Accounting experience would be a plus. Suggestions open.
