Present: Gary Bennier, Pam Colwell, Duane Hoffmeyer, Kirk Lukehart, Dan Rose, Troy Hedlund, Deb Logsdon, Mark Morehead.

Absent: Eric Carlson, Pattie Hauswald , Mark Johnson, Brooke Schultz, John Ward, Noel White.

Minutes: Minutes from August meeting were previously approved and posted to the website.

Treasurer’s Report: Approved.

Player Discussion:

Brian Thiele and Bob Roe, parents of 2nd year Bantam players, brought discussion to the board re: High School try outs, policies and procedures, and concerns re: 3 freshman-age players trying out for the High School program.

Chairperson’s Reports:

Operations – Kirk Lukehart

Registrar:

• Registrations are still coming in.
• We need team rosters filed with the registrar when available.

Musketeer Relations:

• SYHA flyers have been sent to schools.
• We have a youth hockey video which we will see about having played at Musketeer games.
• SYHA will man a table at Musketeer games; we need volunteers to staff it.

City/Rink Relations:

• Ice fee adjustments were discussed.
• Estimated rates: $120/hour practice ice; $140 game ice.

Coaches/Player Development – Kirk Lukehart:

Coaches Recruitment: Duane Hoffmeyer

• Pee Wee level has rosters for travel teams; need a Pee Wee B coach.

I.P./A.C.E. Coordinator:

• Jeff Grey will fill the Director of Hockey Operations position, and fill the I.P./A.C.E. coordinator position as part of his responsibilities.

House League -- Mark Morehead

• Jeff Grey will be involved with House League programs and practices.
• Discussion on various proposals for House League pictures. 3-4 entities have submitted proposals for consideration.
• House League jersey sponsors are being lined up; $300 per sponsorship.

Finance/Fundraising – Mark Johnson

Dasher Boards:

• Open spots to sell at the Ice Center (estimate 10+). Tyson will do a board.
Pancake Day: Set for January 28, 2006.

Travel Teams – Duane Hoffmeyer/Deb Logsdon

• Team sponsors: max 4 sponsors per team, no set dollar amount, approval of sponsors by the board, sponsor jersey plates ordered through the board.

Administration – Kirk Lukehart

• Landon Blatchford has been selected as the Bantam “A” coach.
• Office re-alignment at the IBP Ice Center will be taking place this month.

Communication:

• Plans to recruit new skaters: ymailing lists; schools, including outlying areas; demographic mailings; preschools/day care;
