| MEMBERS PRESENT: Maxine Buckmeier, Lin Hardenbrook, Duane Hoffmeyer, Mark Johnson, Kirk Lukehart, Deb Logsdon, Curtis McCline, Jeamie Strachan, Bob Sundlie, Lisa Soole, James Quesenbury MEMBERS ABSENT: Dan Holzichter, Pam Harp OTHERS PRESENT: Webster's, Sue Legree, Heather Brinkerhof, Deb Nelson, Roger Kelly, Hagamans MINUTES of October 19, 2002 Special Meeting of the Board of Directors were reviewed. Minutes had been previously sent to the board members. Motion by Hoffmeyer, second by Quesenberry to approve the minutes. Motion passed. COACHING COMMITTEE: McCline represented the coaching committee. The committee recommended Rob Casper for the P/W A coach. He has experience as a Musketeer and 4 years on the Metro Team. He is unavailable for house league coaching on Tuesday nights. He will need to take the IP Clinic and Level 1 before the Dec 14th Level 2 in Des Moines. Motion by McCline and second by Logsdon to accept Rob as the Pee Wee A coach. Motion passed. The committee recommends Steve Stokes Co-Coach with Dan Cownie for the Bantam B team. Steve has assisted Jim Peck for five years. He has his IP & Level 2. He will be taking Level 3 on Nov 2nd. Dan has his Level 3 coaching card. Motion by McCline to accept Steve and Dan as co-coaches. Discussion relating to the fact that both coaches have agreed to the co-coaching responsibilities. Second by Johnson. Motion passed. Discussion from parents attending regarding their concerns over the skating abilities of 2 skaters on the Bantam B team. Jamie has been asked to go to a practice and evaluate the Bantam B team. Mr. Webster requests the impeachment of Curtis McCline from the Board after viewing his opinions regarding the coaching selection this year for the Bantams. Heather Brinkerhof wants the board to reconsider the practice schedule. Discussion was had on practice times. NEW BUSINESS: Luverne Hockey Club wants our permission to cross-state lines with regard to a Sioux Center Goalie at the Pee Wee Level. Motion by Hoffmeyer to allow the goalie to play for Luverne. Second by Lin. Motion passed. Motion to adjourn by Lukehart, second by Soole. Motion passed. Respectfully Submitted, |
