| MEMBERS PRESENT: Maxine Buckmeier, Pam Harp, Duane Hoffmeyer, Daniel Holzrichter, Mark Johnson, Deb Logsdon, Curtis McCline, Jeamie Strachan, Bob Sundlie, Lisa Soole, James Quesenberry, Lin Hardenbrook and Kirk Lukehart. OTHERS PRESENT: MINUTES of January 15th, 2003 regular meeting were discussed. Motion by Holzrichter and 2nd by Lukehart to approve the minutes as printed. Motion passed. TREASURER REPORT: Tabled until March meeting. Hoffmeyer and Soole presented High School Treasures report. Operating within budget and working on two collection issues DIRECTORS' REPORTS Registrar: nothing to report. Executive Committee: Robert Sundlie is transferring so we will need a new Vice President. Coaching Committee: The coaching committee will present a recommendation on team selection at our next meeting. Risk Manager: We need a rider for the Auto Carrier Ins at a cost of $1,300.00. Ice Scheduler: Bantam A Tournament will be in Sioux City. Regular SYHA play will end on March 8th. We may finish some House League games after the 8th. Player Development: nothing to report Travel League: nothing new to report. House League: Some complaints for Mite league play. There seems to be some rough play. The PeeWee division had a skater hurt during a game. Maxine will go over this with McClennen. Communication Team: High School going into the State Tournament with both JV & Varsity teams. March 13th Y/E banquet. Bantam A won a game. Publicity: Sunday, February 23rd COPS for Kids. Musketeer Relations: we had 8 dates for Chuck a Puck and we did not show. Novelty: The display case is at the Ice Center. Equipment: Goalie equipment always seems to be missing at the end of the season. Dan suggests we get a bag of goalie equipment for each house league team. The Metros have sticks left over and would like to sell them at $15.00 each. Can we put these on the Web page? Fund Raising: Pancake Day worked out at the Audi while it was under construction. Legal: nothing Referee In Chief: nothing. League Representatives: Tri-State – Hoffmeyer reported the Y/E Tournament is becoming out of hand. DesMoines and Omaha want to come in at the first and second seed. Mark Jensen is arguing the point. Old Business City contract is still being finalized. New Business We discussed rostering additional players for Grand Forks tournament for the Squirt A Team. We need a goalie to move down from the PeeWee division. This will work under our current guidelines of moving goalies only and the age works under the North Dakota rules. A motion was made by Lukehart to approve the Coach and Player evaluation forms as presented. Second by Hoffmeyer. Motion passed. The coaching committee will disperse the forms and they will be returned back in sealed envelopes. Motion made by Lukehart, seconded by Logsdon, the meeting adjourned. Respectfully submitted, |
