| MEMBERS PRESENT: Mark Johnson, Kirk Lukehart, Mark Morehead, Lisa Soole, Dave Purdy, Duane Hoffmeyer, Pam Harp, Tim Hinrichsen, Troy Hedlund MEMBERS ABSENT: Patti Hauswald, Noel White, Deb Logsdon, James Quesenbury, Dan Holzichter OTHERS PRESENT: Tracy Bornholtz MINUTES: Minutes for July 21, 2004 were reviewed and a motion was made by Duane to approve as written. Second by Mark. Motion passed. TREASURERS’ REPORT: The report was reviewed. The report for Year Ended May 31st was reviewed. We ended the year with an $11,102.22 loss. The prior year was an $18,839.89 loss. The budget for the 2004/2005 season was discussed. We are attempting a breakeven to a $10,000 profit. The budget will have to be adjusted after registration to reflect actual skaters. The budget is based on 237 skaters. Motion by Dave. Second by Lisa to approve the treasures report as presented. Motion passed. We need to remove the Burger King dasher board advertisement. Discussion on the option of waving the Mite travel jersey fee. Also, discussion on hiring a house league coach. These items will be discussed again at our next regular meeting after a final budget is in place. We are still collecting some travel team accounts. CHAIRMANS REPORTS: OPERATIONS : The registration forms were all printed at Tyson. This will help with the budget. Our appreciation goes out to Tyson for again supporting SYHA. The Musketeers want to donate old equipment to the Metros. COACHES/PLAYER DEVELOPMENT: Jaime Strachan and Dan Cownie both went to Level 4 training. Duane reported that Dave Legree has been voted in as the Bantam A coach. The committee recommends Mike Kramer be secured as the Tyke Head Coach. Motion made by Duane, second by Mark. Motion passed. HOUSE LEAGUE: TRAVEL TEAMS: FINACE/FUNDRAISING: We need a new Dasher Board representative from the Board Tracy Bornholtz reported that the flyers went out for the golf tournament. She brought the board up-to-date and the progress. As of today, 48 golfers were registered. ADMINISTRAITON: Lukehart attended the Tri-State meeting and updated the board on what was discussed at the meeting. METROS: The metros are selling Hy Vee Coupon Books this year.
