Metros fall in fifth place game |
|
DAVENPORT, Iowa - The Sioux City Metros closed its 2008 hockey season following Sunday's 5-0 setback to Mason City in the fifth-place game of the Midwest High School Hockey League tournament at the Quad Cities Sports Center's World Arena. Chris Jessen had a goal and two assists for the Mohawks. Sioux City fired just 14 shots on goal in closing its campaign, its first under head coach Clorey Clarks, at 14-22-1-2.
The Metros entered Sunday's contest after a dramatic shootout victory
over Des Moines Capitals Saturday in a consolation semifinal. |
